Turkey:Dozens Arrested Over Suicide Bomb Attack in Istanbul

BBC reports that Dozens of people with suspected links to so-called Islamic State (IS) have been arrested across Turkey following Tuesday's suicide bomb attack in Istanbul that killed at least 10 people. Three of those arrested were Russian citizens who are suspected to have been in contact with IS fighters. The government has been accused of being slow to act against IS in Turkey.

There is also criticism that it is too focused on fighting Kurdish rebels.
BBC also revealed that Turkey's government has said that the 28-year-old Syrian IS activist who blew himself up on Tuesday was part of a network whose connections run far and wide.

The three Russian nationals arrested in the city of Antalya are reported to have been in contact with IS fighters and were seized alongside documents and weapons.

About 60 suspects were taken into custody as part of police operations carried out in the provinces of Ankara, Kilis, Sanliurfa, Mersin, and Adana, the Anatolia news agency reported.
