British Actor Alan Rickman Dies at 69

Alan Rickman, British actor who played a leading role as the brooding Professor Severus Snape in the "Harry Potter" films years after his film debut as the "Die Hard" villain Hans Gruber, has died. A reliable source close to the family revealed that the outstanding Britsh actor died  after a short battle with cancer. He was age 69.

Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman was an English actor, director and writer. He was also a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company performing in both modern and classical theatre productions. Rickman was married to Rima Horton.

Rickman featured in prominent movies like : A Little Chaos - 2014, Harry Porter and the Philos - 2001, Die Hard - 1988, Robinhood Prince of Thieves - 1991, Love Actually - 2003.
