Prince Tops the Charts days after death

Prince's music is dominating the official album chart, currently holding every position in the Top 5.

The Top 5 includes Prince's albums The Very Best Of, Ultimate, Purple Rain, The Hits / The B-Sides, and Sign O' The Times.

If the compilation album The Very Best Of remains in the top spot on Friday, the album will become Prince's sixth number one album in the UK.

The late musician's fans have also ensured that Prince's hit song Purple Rain takes second place on the official singles chart.
When Doves Cry has also re-entered the charts at number six, followed by Kiss at 11, Raspberry Beret at 15, 1999 at 17 and Little Red Corvette at 26.

The musician was found collapsed in a lift by staff members last Thursday after last being seen alive 12 hours earlier.

His brother-in-law Maurice Phillips has claimed the singer worked for six days non-stop before his death.
Speaking after a private family service at the estate,  Mr Phillips said: "He worked 154 hours straight.

"I was with him just last weekend. He was a good brother-in-law."

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding Prince's death after authorities said they had "no reason to believe" he committed suicide.

Authorities added that there were "no obvious signs of trauma" on his body.
