Iggy Azalea Hit with a Tax Lien for $400,000

Iggy Azalea has been hit with a tax lien for $400,000, according to TMZ.

The publication reports that the Australian-born rapper owes $391,056.55 in unpaid income taxes from 2014, the same year Azalea dropped her Grammy-nominated debut album, The New Classic.

The LP, which earned a 2.5 out of 5 rating from HipHopDX, sold 52,392 units during its first week.

Iggy Azalea isn’t the only rapper to have been hit with a tax lien this year.

It was reported in late March that Rap icon Nas had been struck with a tax lien for $145,000. In February, both TIP and Lil Wayne received the same fate; the former in the amount of $1,640,664.90 while the latter was hit with a $900,000 tax lien.
