Triple MG singer Iyanya has been appointed ambassador of Cross River state.
The appointment was revealed yesterday November 22 at the 2015 Calabar Carnival in Cross River state. Iyanya was the chosen by the state Governor Ben Ayade.
At the appointment ceremony Senator Florence Ita-Giwa was present as well Triple MG boss Ubi Franklin and his wife Lilian Esoro.
Iyanya on his new appointment will be entitled to an official car from the state and a monthly salary.
Iyanya comes from Calabar in Cross River. In most of his music videos he showcases the culture of his state.
In another development, the Kukere crooner announced that he will be releasing an R&B collaboration album with Banky W.
"Watch out for me and Banky we are dropping a album” he told Hip TV.
