Thereafter, Amina was released to the Operation LAFIYA DOLE headquarters for further investigation and handing over.
The army spokesman revealed tht after preliminary investigation, the rescued girl and her baby was handed over to Borno State Governor, His Excellency, Honourable Kashim Shetima, at Government house, Maiduguri by the Acting General Officer Commanding 7 Division, Brigadier General Victor Ezugwu in a brief ceremony.
It is believed that she will be brought to Abuja today along with her parents to meet with Mr President.
